Find answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about Retro’s Brisbane.

It is a requirement of law that your ID is scanned upon entry. We can only accept current physical and approved digital forms of ID. Photos of ID’s cannot be accepted. By law one of the following forms of identification are accepted as proof of age and entry. Current Australian driver’s license or permit, current Australian or foreign passport, current Government issued proof of age card, other current identity documents approved by the Liquor Licensing Division such as: the Victorian Key-pass, an overseas drivers license that must contain the persons photograph, date of birth and be written in the English language

What is the dress code?

Dress to impress with a smart-casual touch and remember closed-in shoes are a must. Entry is subject to the discretion of our door host or management. Please note that dress codes might differ for special events. For additional details on dress regulations, kindly reach out to us prior to your visit.

Does Retro’s cater to functions and birthdays?

Retro’s has options for whole venue hire, private booth hire or simply group celebrations for birthday. Please call our sales team to discuss your options on (07) 3166 2470.

Can I book a private booth?

You can book a private VIP booth with bottle service! You get a private booth, personal waiter and a section for you and your friends. Please note payments on booths are non-refundable and must be booked online through the Retro’s website

Is there a cover charge?

Retro’s may charge a door entry fee or cover charge at our discretion. A cover charge contributes towards the service and entertainment provided on the night. A standard cover charge may range from $10.00 to $30.00. Special Event entry fees may be higher.
